Volume 1&2

This being one of my first book reviews while syimotanisely being one of my favorite books right nah. Yes yes yes. Even still, even though After surviving the apocalypse I built a city in another world. I will give an honest unbiased review. 

This review will be for Volumes 1 & 2 or chapters 1 to 305. This will not be a detailed reviewed because it’s not a spoiler but a review. First off the first 20 chapters do a pretty good job at painting a picture of a world that’s not quite earth but close to it. On this land there are very little forest, advance technology and the humans  of this earth are said the best ethnically ambiguous with a mixing pot of ethnicities. 

Now with all that it’s obvious based off the title that this land faces an apocalypse. The maim character navigates her way through the first few chapters taking advantage of the system literally. And also showing off her amazing fighting skills all the while being PREGNANT. Yes you heard me preggers. The author does a pretty good job depicting her size, agility and fighting abilities. 

I’m gonna say it, this is one bad ass pregnant lady lol. On top of that there are zombies! Yes Zombies (for a short while anyways) you’ll have to read what I mean yourself but I’ll tell you this is NOT a zombie story. The zombies appear for a very short amount of time and it’s absolutely Thrilling. 

I will say that after the first 100 chapters the fluff chapters or chapters that don’t follow the main story line can get a bit fluffy. But if you’re reading this, there should be hundreds of chapters by now and these fluff stories add to the meat of the story and are good additions UNTIL. You find yourself waiting for the next chapter. Once you’ve caught up with the updates these fluff chapters are down right suffocating. 

But even still some how the author manages to make it make sense so they definitely don’t take away from the story. Our main character Althea Witt is that pregnant protagonist who manages to keep your attention all the while being a little to smart and to perfect. It’s obvious the author loves her main character but she has little to no flaws and ever loves her. It’s just one of those books so if that bothers you then you probably don’t want to read it. Now!
